    昨天下午，記者幾經(jīng)周折來(lái)到蔣垛鎮(zhèn)興港村，興港村由原興盛村、蔣東村、福民村合并。蔣東河是蔣垛鎮(zhèn)通往興港村的一條生產(chǎn)河，上世紀(jì)七八十年代開(kāi)挖，是為讓興港村東部地區(qū)積水排向大河。蔣東河?xùn)|西向橫穿興港村，總長(zhǎng)近2公里。

 蔣東河興港村段清淤護(hù)坡工程分兩期進(jìn)行，第一期長(zhǎng)1.5公里，投資480多萬(wàn)元，今年6月份開(kāi)工，目前已進(jìn)入掃尾階段，8月底竣工。工程負(fù)責(zé)人孟網(wǎng)進(jìn)說(shuō)，兩岸水泥護(hù)坡寬6米，底寬5米。河兩邊還設(shè)混凝土擋護(hù)墻，高60厘米，確保安全。

      興港村黨總支副書(shū)記、村民委員會(huì)副主任王書(shū)鳳說(shuō)，蔣東河興港村段近2公里長(zhǎng)清淤護(hù)坡工程總投資600多萬(wàn)元，全部由興港村孟咸宏、孟咸軍兄弟倆捐資。一期工程結(jié)束后，二期工程就動(dòng)工，計(jì)劃10月份竣工。二期工程雖沒(méi)一期工程大，但任務(wù)并不輕松，這段河道兩岸村民居住集中，按照孟咸宏、孟咸軍兄弟倆的設(shè)計(jì)，除了護(hù)坡綠化，兩岸還要建亭臺(tái)樓閣、停車場(chǎng)和休閑中心。“要讓村民生活在鄉(xiāng)村風(fēng)景里，享受快樂(lè)生活。”

兩兄弟已經(jīng)投資整治過(guò)一條河

       據(jù)61歲的村民孟咸棟介紹，49歲的孟咸宏和47歲的孟咸軍因?yàn)榧彝ヘ毟F，高中畢業(yè)后放棄上大學(xué)的機(jī)會(huì)，外出闖蕩。兄弟倆先跟著別人后面干，用泥漿泵沖洗河床淤土清淤。“這種活兒相當(dāng)苦。”干了十幾年清淤苦工，手頭漸漸有了積蓄，弟兄倆又辦船廠。如今，孟咸宏在南通辦船廠，孟咸軍在揚(yáng)中辦船廠，兄弟倆憑著當(dāng)初的吃苦精神，生意都紅紅火火。

     孟咸宏和孟咸軍的父親孟爾寬原是生產(chǎn)隊(duì)長(zhǎng)，11年前去世。孟爾寬生前多次告誡兩個(gè)兒子，“咱們村莊偏僻，經(jīng)濟(jì)薄弱，將來(lái)有錢了，不能忘了建設(shè)家鄉(xiāng)，造福鄉(xiāng)親。”

  4年前的春節(jié)，兄弟倆回家過(guò)節(jié)，看到河道阻塞，垃圾成堆，河兩邊的道路多處塌陷，有的地方僅剩一兩米，村民怨聲載道，村干部卻籌措不到資金整治河道。大年初一中午，兄弟倆一起吃飯時(shí)，談到這事，想到父親的告誡，決定分批捐資改造。

    大年初一下午，兄弟倆找到村支部，說(shuō)愿意先拿出400多萬(wàn)元，整治和改善村里的福民河。興港村黨總支書(shū)記孫麗平說(shuō)，那時(shí)，有的村干部不敢相信，認(rèn)為兄弟倆說(shuō)大話。誰(shuí)知，春節(jié)過(guò)后，錢就到了村的賬戶。2011年底，福民河改造護(hù)坡工程結(jié)束，兩岸村民奔走相告。

    昨天下午，記者來(lái)到福民河畔，32歲的村民張宏軍正釣上一條6斤多的大花魚(yú)。張宏軍的父親張亞官說(shuō)，福民河改造前，滿河雜草和垃圾，河道堵塞，臭氣熏天。如今，又回到了原來(lái)“河水清又清”的時(shí)代。

先后捐資千萬(wàn)惠及1200多位村民

    王書(shū)鳳說(shuō)，去年陰歷六月廿四，孟咸宏、孟咸軍兄弟倆的母親因病去世。兄弟倆是孝子，今年清明節(jié)，兄弟倆回家祭祀父母，看到蔣東河興港村段糟糕的環(huán)境，又找到村里，說(shuō)，“這幾年，手頭又?jǐn)€了些錢了，想捐資改造蔣東河興港村段。”兄弟倆說(shuō)到做到，5月份，第一期工程的480多萬(wàn)元到賬。

    孟咸宏、孟咸軍兄弟倆捐資千余萬(wàn)元，改造了福民河和蔣東河，另外還鋪了兩條路，建了3座橋，惠及村里的250戶1200多位村民。村里多次要請(qǐng)媒體記者前來(lái)宣傳，均被兄弟倆婉言謝絕。“這次，孟咸宏、孟咸軍兄弟倆捐資480多萬(wàn)元為蔣東河興港村段護(hù)坡，被姜堰區(qū)委宣傳部評(píng)為2014年7月份月度新事，才張揚(yáng)開(kāi)了。”
